E-drum module stops working after some time?

I just bought an edrum set (BlackHawk HXD) - after connecting it through midi-usb to my pc and setting it in Reaper everything worked fine.

I noticed a weird problem though - everything works nice and smooth but only for some time, after a few minutes reaper just stops reading my module and thus my edrum kit isn't triggering any samples (i'm using Ezdrummer2 and Windows 10, x64 Reaper).

It's like the midi signal was cut after some minutes, the only thing that helps is reconnecting the module again and restarting Reaper.

Any ideas?
