Default Wow, thanks.

I just had my 1st couple of jamming sessions yesterday, the only time I have had a jamming session before was in person with my friend a few years ago. So this made a great alternative. I play guitar but I'm not that good (in comparison to alot of people)but I gave it a shot.

I 1st played with someone who couldn't speak english very well but he would play a rhythm I would copy and repeat and then he was coming in with some licks and solos. Times like this proove that music is it's own language.

I'm still a little afraid to go into servers with arounf 4+ people since I'm too afraid that I may mess things up. Or do you people welcome people coming in trying?

Thanks again and I look forward to playing more music with you all.

Hiya, you can click xmit to turn off transmit, that way you can play along, when you have something you feel goes you can then re click xmit and join the jam.
It's not good to sit for long periods not transmitting though, people will become annoyed if you sit silent and never play.
But most will unxmit until they have something that fits then xmit to join the jam.
Some servers has Radio Streams and http://ninbot.com has a lounge for each server so you can chat and listen or play along to get used to things.

Welcome to NINJAM.

I'll just add that you shouldn't be too bashful -- just like Andy says, though, take care to listen and fit in with what's going on. I just listened back to an old jam I was in and the bass player on it only played one note. But it was the right note, at the right time. Without it, the jam wouldn't have sounded as good.

Biggest and most important thing to get right is your volume level...
