Render Mix stops at 7hrs
Hi
It may be a strange use for Reaper, but I wanted to generate a 24 hour SMPTE stripe. I've created the track at the correct length, but when I come to render the master mix and entire project I only get the first 7 hours, 25 minutes and 48 seconds.
This happens for audio files as well, so I wonder if this is a limitation or a bug. I expect there aren't many people that want a 7 hour plus mix
Any suggestions?

Max file size on disk?
7 hours, 25 minutes and 48 seconds = 2250 MB (@ 44100 16-bit)

What are your parameters for the session, the SMPTE LTC generator and the render window ?
I'll assume it's 48kHz, but what frame rate(both project and SMPTE LTC generator) ?
Any offset involved ?
Target format ?
Target disk file system type(NTFS, FAT32, HFS+ ?)
I'm doing a test-render with 48kHz/16 bit WAV, 30fps on to an NTFS disk. We'll see how that goes. Takes a damn long time too.

I think these two are the key questions. Wav64 will allow for larger files, and the disk file system will have to also.

I had no problem generating that file.
8 Gigabyte in size. Hmm. I'll test various compressors on that now .
