It's a good EQ. I take issue with boosts capping at +15db, however.

I can't remember when the last time was that I needed even close to 15db of boost or cut from an eq.... What the heck are you eq-ing??

I use as much as 25 sometimes on kick drums. I love EQ'ing kick drums in such a way it looks like it's own waveform xd

Yeah, I often use big boosts on the high end of the kick. +15dB or higher is pretty normal.

I record sounds from the Andromeda Galaxy. Checking for life (and maybe bass drum samples). At 2.5 million light years away, I need all the boost I can get.

No problem, slap on two instances, (or more) and divide the workload between them.

Theoretically, you should get a cleaner sound overall, if each device(plugin) operates well within its maximum limits.
