Default Media explorer - unwanted reset of selection

When I delete a file from media explorer, selection of this file disappears - and I need to run from the beginning (using "down" key) or I need to use mouse every time to go to file next to deleted one. Is there a solution to this problem?

I'm not quite understanding. If you delete a file with the Media Explorer, it won't be selected anymore. Can you explain it differently. Maybe install LICEcap and record a .gif to show what you mean if english isn't your first language (can upload to imgur.com)...

Yes, it won't be selected, but for example in Windows Explorer when I delete a file, the "position" doesn't reset and in Reaper media explorer I need to select files one by one, from the beginning of a folder, until I reach the file next after removed one (or use the mouse for clicking this file)

If you right-click on the Media Explorer tab, there should be an option called "Use Windows Explorer for browsing". Try that.
