Default mcu contyroller

hello, i am considering buying the mcu controller, 2 8 bay add ons and a c4. can i use all 4 at the same time with reaper, and is it worth it? Does it make things easier? or better off in the box.

in general you can use all the midi devices you can plug into your computer. only one audio device though, unless you're on a mac. i can't imagine working without at least 1 midi controller and you will not be able to do anything without an audio device. i know nothing of the specific gear you mention.

Sure can, I extended the supplied Reaper functionality to do just that -- MCU + Extenders + C4 with custom mapping.

It'a available here:
https://stash.reaper.fm/v/11712/WaddMCUC4.zip

Klinke has an excellent implementation as well, I don't know if it still supports extenders though:

Also the stock plugin supplied with Reaper will get you going.

As far as being better or worse, if you're used to the console type workflow it's indispensable, way smoother / faster / more creative.
