Default Hey bass dudes_ Shreddage 2 or AmpleSound MetalRay5 OR ....

Another Keyboardist VSTi query. Already using Trilian & Scarbee MM-Bass ... How do Shreddage2 or AmpleSound Metal Ray5 rate ??

Are there others out there I'm overlooking?

Prominy SR5 looks very good. I use Scarbee Rickenbacker and pre bass, both are excellent. At some point I will almost certainly get one of the stingray basses, but I'll probably choose based on who offers the best deal (probably on black friday).

Thanks for your perspectives. Scarbee Rickenbacker & Pre-Bass have been on my list, but no Demos to try on my system. Same with Prominy, but their reputation seem strong. Shreddage2 is unknown to me so it will take some strong recommends!

Orange Tree Samples will be Updating basses soon so may wait or go for AmpleSound Stingray at nice intro price.

Regards,

BTW .... realize the range of Bass types, intended genres, etc.
I'm focused on VSTi that do best 'emulation' of Bass they sample. Only Bassists can help me here .....

and what about the NI Rickenbacker as well?

Default amplesound bass problem

Does anyone out there know or can even guess why my amplesound acoustic bass, when recording produces multiple notes when I play a key? I have it set on sustain which is the only good sound, and am not sure if that has anything to do with it. Ive tried everything I can think of in the bass settings, and also on reaper. This is so frustrating. The bass sound is great but this glitch is driving me nutz
