Group FX automation

I still haven't quite figured out how to do accomplish group FX automation.

My goal is to use my midi controller to adjust an FX parameter on multiple tracks at once. In most DAWs you can group a set of tracks, then adjust a parameter one track and it automatically adjusts that same parameter on the other group tracks.

I want to avoid writing FX parameter automation on each individual track.

Is there a clever way of doing this in reaper yet or should I make a feature request?

This is fantastic and similar to Steinberg's quick control. I'm still having some trouble setting it up. Would you mind if I PM'd you to help get me going?
