Default What are these "err" marks on wav import?

.

Imported 2 mono files from a Zoom H5 and got a few of these "err" marks. Obviously it's an error of some sort, but does anyone know specifically? Not located at clips or anything I can spot, or any reason why this area is any different than the rest of the files, which don't have such marks.

Thanks.

the marker are embedded in the item itself.

in Zoom h5 there are called marks (you can set a f.i. mark when pressing
the record button while recording)

in the Zoom H5 you can scroll through the mark-list
look at page 51 of the H5 manual.

ERR shows one or more skipped samples, maybe the sd-card was too slow..

the wave form should be interpolated from the samples before an after the ERR mark.

In Reaper, they are called "Media cues"; User Guide 9.11

I wasn't the recorder of the file and only vaguely familiar with the Zoom H5 (use a Tascam myself), but I can imagine they didn't use a fast card for it. No issues with the import, or any errors were dealt with. Thanks for the interesting link, bobobo. I'm certain they (an interviewer with little technical knowledge) didn't add any markers, at least on purpose.
