Default Gradual volume alter

I know how to change the volume of a selected area, but it there a way to take a gradually diminishing waveform....let's say loud on left, gradually quieting to the right....and I want to increase the waveform smoothly to match the left. I have set up the horizontal line to the middle of the waveform for altering the wave height, but I want just the right side to pivot up while the left stays still, so the gradual diminishing volume is increased gradually, to match up.
Anyone grabbing what I mean?

I'm trying to correct a person's voice trailing off gradually.

Activate the volume envelope.
Insert 2 points before the change and 2 points after the change (shift left click i believe) for a total of 4 point.
Use the "inner" points to adjust to the desired volume and slope.
Leaving the 2 "outer" points untouched keeps the levels unchanged for the rest of the track.

Brilliant, Dynsdale. Works fine.

(BTW, your icon reminds me of a childhood story of the Wind and the Sun having a competition to try to get the guy to remove his coat.)

Glad it worked. The picture is aptly named The Thirsty Man and is from an old Tuborg beer advertisement.
