Default Reaper unexpectedly quit

Hi,

Since yesterday I have a huge amount of Reaper-crashes.
I experienced Reaper as super stable before and did not change anything.
Is there a crashlog somewhere in Reaper, so that I can post it here?
In the attachment is the apple report, which can be sent to apple..
don't know if it keeps interesting informations.
How can I open a reaper project without plugins, I'am suspecting them to cause the crash, not sure though?

I'am on a Mackbook Pro late 2013, Mac OS 10.9.5, 16GB Ram, 1TB SSD

Thanks for help (to get my confidence in Reaper back too)

From crash log, seems like izotope RX plugins are crashing Reaper.

- Do you have latest version of these installed ?
- Do you have latest version of Ilok manager software installed ?
- Do you have ilok directly connected to mac, instead of via usb hub ?

When you open Reaper, by doubleclicking it's program icon, then choose "open" from file menu, you have the option to open a project with it's used plugins in offline modus.
That way, you can open your crashy project.

Thanks for your quick reply!

I can't find any update for RX5, the in-app Updater leads me to a 404 Page, strange..

I had these crashes also with a project in which I was not using RX5, so I stay a bit distrustful, but can not reproduce the crash at the moment..

Ok.

Maybe in that other crashing Project, another plugin (or more) were causing that crash.

Many times, a Reaper crash is due to "faulty" plugin(s) in the Project.

Sometimes an app can crash an OS service. OSX is supposed to be (and usually is) more resilient to that kind of thing but it happens. Hence the first thing anyone suggests is always restarting.

I've had this scenario before where a 3rd party plugin crashes and now other projects are crashy until a restart.

Just throwing that out there in case you see the pattern.
