What happens if I wait a few days after the 30 days to pay?
I've been using Reaper for about 27 days and I won't be able to pay till the weekend.
Am I going to have to uninstall and then re-install the program once I pay?
Thanks in advance

The software will keep working. You won't have to uninstall or install anything extra.

Cockos Air Force 1 and 2/3 will drop a herd of Llamas with dysentery on your house if you don't pay up!
No. You won't have to uninstall/reinstall or jump through hoops or clean up Llama funk. They'll email you a license key, you'll import it, life will be grand once again...

Don't listen to these guys. What really happens it that Reaper starts emitting ultrasonic frequencies through your speakers that you can't hear, but that rob you entirely of your musical talent. Trust me, I know. I waited past the 30 days and I haven't been able to create anything worth a shit with it even after licensing.

On the 31st day, Justin will send the lads round to cut off your little toes.
Then, every day after that, they will return and work their way up from there.
You really don't want to wait until Day 40 before coughing up the readies.
Just kidding of course! The software will carry on working, and so will your various body parts.

You will feel some personal guilt, making you pay for the software even if you don't use it for daily work. I don't know how they implemented this feature, but it's effective fer sure.
(my experience)
Stories about malignant testicular myomas caused by monitorradiation have yet to be confirmed. In the meantime you can visit the Rearection subforum for details and treatment.

Hi Galactic death, thanks for this funny thread! I guess saldiamonds is right. And at KVR another Reaper-thread will be opened, where some seasoned users will write about "Reaper-fanboys" without any actual remark about the software. And, a tad more disturbing, out of nowhere a bunch of german students of cultural sciences looking somewhat like this
will, every day a bit more often, come to meet you, look you into the eyes in that bored manner, and will suddenly shout out
"I am in the system, but most subversive!"
I can tell you, I had these bored people for years nearby, it is better to register soon

In fact, you will never be able to have sex again, which explains the hair growing in the palm of your hands...
or was it already like that before I first installed Reaper?

At first it'll be subtle, but eventually you'll notice that your song writing will get worse and worse. The Reaper license is the only remedy. Your work even with other software may begin to be affected.
No one talks about the psychological aspects of extending the demo period but it is very real. Hope I didn't scare anyone. Hey, great songs, btw! What DAW are you using?

LOL...
What is worse though? That ^^^ or a gaggle of Emo kids shuffling around with tattoos all over and fake slits and blood on their wrists? Did you know when the Emo "scene" struck, Revlon stock almost doubled? Heh-heh... All that d@#n eye make-up...

What everyone is trying to convey to you is that you are screwed if you don't pay the REAPER!

I went nine days over the time limit and lost some of my toes and most of my talent, and my puppy died, but yours is indeed the scariest of them all - I am in permanent dread of these people daily - If only I had paid when I should have done
Oh yes, and they turned me into a teddy bear - you can't know how debilitating that is!

tbh I didn't buy a copy for several months. I decided to buy when I was convinced it was worth it but for months I would just open it up maybe once every couple of weeks and see what the new versions had to offer. I didn't really make much music in it at that point and felt absolutely not pangs of conscience or anything about doing that. At the end of the day I felt it was the spirit of the terms rather than the letter that I was bothered about - I was barely using it and it was only when I really started getting into it that I felt I needed to buy it - up until then I was just testing it - slowly - at my own pace. I admire the fact that the devs treat people like adults - yes there is this 30 day thing but it doesn't expire and this is really an honour system, not one based on "the man" with the briefcase or anything.

All these guyz are just making stuff up!!
The real truth is that they hired Dick Cheney as as license enforcer. You will get a visit from him where you will be very strongly invited (whether you want to or not) to accompany him on a vacation to a tropical little "villa" on the Cuban island. And during the time you are on the plane down there you will be wondering what he plans to do with that old tee-shirt and garden hose he brought along.
I do not think I have to fill in the rest.
