Default Random MIDI script?

Is there a way in reaper to generate random MIDI notes within a specified range and possibly key?
I saw there are JS plugins, but I'd like to actually have the notes in the score editor without recording the output.

Glue is an usable option too.

Ideally though it would be nice to have it operate on the notes directly inside the editor.

Like there is a randomize velocities script.

If there's none, maybe somebody apt in programming would like to do it?
