Default Rather Harmless Demons

Semi-rough mix straight from the oven:
http://www.kaspartorn.eu/audio/Rathe...11-10-25_2.mp3

Started out by making some new drum sounds with Drumaxx, which led to a seemingly cool walking rhythm which led to this song.

Bass is a DIY 2-string fretless made from aluminum T-beam.
Synth bass - Zebra
Horns - Alchemy
Ampsim - Amplitube

Enjoy!

I like it. Great sounds and atmosphere.

Brings to mind David Lynch music with a bit of a French twist.

I like it. Sounds like it should be in the soundtrack of some kick-ass action flick. Cool guitar sounds. Show us your bass!

Thanks guys!

I've thought a lot about doing music for movies, be it action or some other kind, but I haven't had an opportunity yet.

Also I've had my share of Lynch too

And the pics for the T-Beam bass...
For the pickup there's an ever temporary contraption of sideways guitar humbucker

I got the idea of using a T-beam for bass from an internet blog by Alexander Gorm Øst:
http://tbeamguitar.blogspot.com/

He's building some interesting guitars there.

Glad you liked.
The bass is a bit unfinished and it takes a bit of work to get the right notes out but at least it's different, right?

That bass is just about the coolest damn thing I have ever seen! Sounds great too.

Another excellent track, Carbon. I'm sticking it in my ever growing library of REAPER favourites right now. I have a Kaspar folder.

The atmosphere is phenomenal.

Tell me when the folder has enough material for an album
It seems my pace is so slow I'm never getting there.
