Recording automation with the minitaur hardware

Hello, Im using the newest firmware and the new Minitaur vst inside of reaper and i can record automation from the hardware by using using the mouse to turn the knobs on the vst. Also when i turn the knobs on the actual hardware the knobs turn on the vst. So they seem in unison. The issue is when i try to record automation using the hardware knobs nothing is being recorded. its kind of weird. anyhelp would be appreciated.

I've got the same issue with my Sub Phatty. I haven't found a solution yet.

Have you tried recording the MIDI CC data? It won't be in an automation lane or quite as easy to edit, but it should just work.
