Default Need a sampler to trigger a kick along with my drum software

Hey reaper gents, I have started using Getgooddrums and it's amazing but I would really like to run a kick sample of my own along with the kick in GGD. So basically what I need is a sampler that I can drop a kick sample into and then map it to the same key in the piano roll as the GGD kick drum. I see reaper has a sampler but I have no idea how to use it. I can't afford something like battery or slate trigger for such a small purpose.

Can anyone recommend something I can use for such a thing? Preferably freeware, donation-ware or cheap etc.

You guys always come through!

Reaper's own sampler can easily do what you want and whatever you pick up you'll have to learn to use. The information in the Reaper Effects Guide http://www.reaper.fm/guides/ReaEffectsGuide.pdf should be plenty to get you going.

SUCCESS!!!! I didn't see this sampler in there when I looked. It's perfect! All I did was copy the MIDI from the drums, copy it to a new track with the sampler on it and then remove all but the kick notes. Is there a way to not have to go in and remove all but the kick midi notes? Can I make it trigger just C2 and ignore the other notes or do I have to remove the other notes?

Just set both Note Start and Note End to C2 (36) and it's done.
