Default Side Chaining ReaEQ

I want to duck 500hz and 800hz of a B3 Keyboard whenever the singer is singing and I can't remember how to do this.

I'm not at my pc at the moment but basically, you use parameter modulation.
Create a send from the vox track to the B3 track on channels 3&4, set the ReaEQ parameter modulation to modulate the band levels of the two freq's you want to duck and you should be set.
Parameter modulation controls can be found in the parameter tab of the ReaEQ plugin window.

I'd give more details but, as I mentioned, I'm not at my pc and making this post from memory.

I find it easy to just modulate the wet/dry parameter. just sounds better to me than any sort of gain band modulation.

This even works with ReaFir.

It is always great to wake up and find answers here. It's like Christmas morning After dealing with compressors for a week, ReaEQ not having a sideband button confused me.

I think I have done the wet/dry idea before actually, why deal with multiple band controls when you can use one knob to rule them all? Yes, I need coffee.

Love this forum and thanks again.

When I use this, it's usually with ReaFir, so it's the only automatable way. Reafir is fantastic for this task.
