Bolero for Ebows
Here is a sneak preview of a track from the new Shadow Circus album that was done entirely with Reaper:
http://www.shadowcircusmusic.com/pre...lero-4-25b.mp3
I feel particularly grateful for having Reaper for this particular track, as a lot of the album needed to be done in ProTools, but PT8 could not handle the nearly 27 tracks of guitars and Kontakt instances that this song required...Reaper handled it without so much as a hiccup!
Would love any feedback on this, as this was a very ambitious, and different, kind of a tune for me to put together...

This is very cool. You should be proud of yourself.
Not sure about the ending though!
The rest was superb.

Thanks for the kind words, and for the comment on the end - you made me think of other ways it could end, and I'm thinking of having it slow down (ritardando), with only the cello playing the melody alone, maybe followed by a gong hit to top it off...

This track is extraordinary. It is definitely in my Reaper-Keeper list.
Speaking of games... I could almost guarantee you that you could shop this to big name game companies and they would jump at the opportunity to use this. Halo 4?
I like the ending too.

Very cool - and definitely sounds like a piece straight from a video game. Or maybe Symphony X's next album? Must hear more!!

Wow, cool! I'm so surprised and happy with the positive response, I was afraid I had made a muddy mess of the mix, and it's such an odd piece for me that I wasn't sure how it would be received...Thanks for all the kind words, it's very encouraging!
