Default Audient ID22

I'm currently using the Audient ID22 in conjunction with Reaper. I'm reinstalling Reaper tonight and I've tried downloading the drivers for the interface from the Audient website, and it refuses to download them saying that the files are corrupt. Is there any advice you can offer me?

Please get back with a review of the Audient ID22 October 1,
I do not doubt I would be the only one interested in one.

Audient drivers are garbage, the mic pre and DI are something else though, worth buying for those, but the interface, gave up on it.

A lot of people have contacted Audient about it, as far as they are concerned they work perfectly, their version of perfectly is working but with terrible low latency performance and a bias towards glitching under heavy usage.

Default ID22

I ended up downloading the old driver to get it working again. It's interesting to hear that other people have been experiencing similar issues.

Sure thing, I'll write a review shortly. Should I post it here in the Reaper forum?
It compares favourably to other interfaces that I've owned, especially the converter quality which I'd say is in the ballpark with companies like Apogee.

I read a lot of the comments and problems on the web
My impression is I have to say the company are very forthright and will get
to the bottom of all of this.
Digidesign had similar problems with the 002 they did not truly acknowledge this at the time they knew about it.
Audient are made of stronger stuff so I would just go through the channels and have patience. The thing is the unit sounds like it has fantastic sound and once the bubbles get sorted whoever purchased will be pleased.
Some of the vibes I got were very positive and that is all good.

Default Audient ID22

I can tell you that it's a fantastic interface. The sound quality is pristine. In addition to the fantastic pre and converter quality is the number of features like the cut and dim functions on the interface.

It's also good for using headphones for playback and tracking. I haven't yet tried my a microphone with it, just my guitar through the DI. But I can imagine it's going to be great once I try recording some acoustic guitar with my Rode NT2-a.

The interface is well designed and very pleasing to look at, very good product design by the folks at Audient.

From what I understand it's also expandable via ADAT which puts it up to about 10 inputs, ideal for recording drums. I've heard some drum recordings with the ID22 and they sound superb.

It's running fine again now, the driver has been the only issue that I've had with it.

Grinder, if you have any more questions regarding the Audient, let me know.

While it is fine to be optimistic, keep in mind that I have dealt with them, they say that want it sorted in various forums across the web (for the search engines) but guess what, the drivers are still crap and low latency performance is terrible.
