Default Akai MPD 26

Just waiting on a Akai MPD 26 to arrive very excited but was wanting to know how easy it was to set-up to use with Reaper & Battery and can I just plug it in and dive straight in or do I need to download or map it if so can you HELP
I have a USB keyboard plugged in as my main controller all ready ....
Had a quick look on YouTube cant seem to find any tutorials about.

if you don't intend to use its built in note repeat then its very simple to set up! (plug & play)

if you do want to use note repeat then you will have to work around Reapers not so good Midi Clock Output by using a JS plugin,

i Assume the default map will work with battery out of the box there is a free app that comes on the disk with it that makes setting up custom maps easy & its also quite easy to program them from the unit but you should never need to do anything if you just want the pads to trigger battery's cells

@Subz - Dude..i think you have just answered my complete pain in the ass trying to use note repeat with Reaper!! What is this JS plugin you speak of? Any time i use note repeat its consistently late which makes the whole thing unuseable! Can you help?
