Default Are .rpp files cross-platform (Mac-Win)?

If I (on Windows 7) were to collaborate with a Mac user, would we be able to exchange .rpp files and both be able to open the projects on our respective systems?

I just realized that we'd both have to have the same VSTs and such though, because the project would be calling for those plugins and they'd need to be found...

Yes they are cross-platform and work fine across platforms, your plug-ins are something else of course (that should work if all plug-ins in use are cross-platform as well though AFAIK).
