Default Licensing Question

Hi Folks,

How many computers can I install Reaper on. I've just ordered a beast of a computer to make things run correctly. I can see how many computers I can install this on. Also, when the license comes via email where does it come from? I get a lot of email (mostly junk) but see nothing from Cockos or Reaper or do I get it from within Reaper itself?

Thanks,

Andy

Default Email

If I could find my original email containing the info I guess that would help. My stupid email is so cluttered..does it come from @cockos.com, like support or info or sales or is different than @cockos.com?

Thanks

Just copy the file from the computer you are already using and put it in the same file on the new computer.

Its in the Reaper 'Program' file and its called "reaper_license.rk"

Enjoy.

If you're on Windows you very well may have hidden folders (not sure about a mac, though).

Go into Folder options, go to the 'view' tab, then scroll through the list till you find the 'hidden folder' options.

The correct file name is listed in my other post, maybe copy that and try running a search. Un-hide those folders first.

It's from
Cockos Incorporated <support@cockos.com>
A search for Cockos should do it.
