Default Reaper on two Computers?

My friend mentioned to me to day that he had heard that Reaper can, or atleast earlier cud, be use two computers at once via a home network or something while working. To use the power from two computers processors intead of only one?

Is this true and how do arrange this setup in that case?

Generally you have one master and one slave PC. You have to make sure all plugins as well as the same Reaper versions with Reamote are installed on both of them.
On the master computer, you’ll work quite as you used to, just when you load a plugin, you can run it from the remote computer. Quite easy to set up. See here for more info:

Ah one more thing: You’ll want to run this over a cable LAN, not WLAN ’cause you’ll need loads of bandwidth!

I assume it's more of a network issue. Did you check if you can reach the other PC via file sharing, e.g. see the other machine's shared folders? If this works, and the settings in Reamote are ok, there should be no more problem. Also try to stop the firewall temporarily to see if it's causing the problem.
