I'm new to home recording and I purchased A Zoom H6 to use as an interface with a Windows 8/64 bit lap top. Seems like a cool option based on its portability and capability. Has anyone one been using this combination with success? I'm fishing for any info and encouragement that anyone has to offer concerning this subject. Let the replies roll in! Thanks for taking the time.
I've done a fair amount of recording with the H6, mostly using it as a portable recorder but occasionally as an interface. Pay a visit to the Homebrewed Music blog in my sig and you'll find a number of articles comparing the H6 to other portable recorders and to an RME UFX interface.
I recently recorded in a home studio a radio program with the H6 as an interface. It´s not mine, but I installed the driver and used it with 3 mics. Very good piece of equipment, it seemed to me.
