Screensets wont switch when dock is in focus
If the devs could fix this little annoyance it would help out quite a bit. Other people have confirmed that it's not working properly. In reference to this thread:
http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.p...d=1#post940613
I have a screenset saved that has the fx browser docked on the right. If the focus gets shifted to the fx broswer, that is if anything is clicked there, then none of the other global screenset hot keys will work. It's virtually stuck. I can click into the arrange view and then my other global screenset hotkeys will work...sometimes. Sometimes it just gets stuck period and wont switch at all.

The FX browser is getting all keyboard input because the filter box has focus when the browser is active (so you can use it immediately). Also, F5 is used by the FX browser so it can't just pass the F-keys to main. It's probably unexpected behavior that the window has the same behavior floating and docked (the Project Bay filter box gets focus when floating and not when docked) but that's maybe the F5-key making this complicated.

Yeah, I dont understand why the F# keys need to be used by the FX browser though. They dont have any function there that I know of...

Well, I never knew that was there...It's not a feature I would use and it is interfering with other things I like. Banish it!

I don't want to get huffy and shouty, but this keyboard focus lark is making using REAPER a joke at times Ollie. What is the point of making keys do things for screen arrangement and workflow, if some of the things it arranges then stop it working?
It's a bit silly...

Has any workaround been found for this? It's really irritating that I have to click back into the main windows to regain focus outside the "Filter list:" input field.
I looked everywhere in the Preferences for an option to stop auto-focusing that FX input field, but nothing exists for it!
This really breaks screensets, it should be fixed!
