Default "No Cd in the drive" warning.

I get this warning anytime after I have had a cd in the drive for any purpose.
Most recently I installed a game from a disk.
Later I opened Reaper, loaded a project and before the project would load I got the message, there is no cd in the drive.
I clicked OK and got the message again like it was very important.
I clicked OK again and the project finally loaded.

Why does Reaper care about a cd in the drive?

Is there some setting somewhere that I don't know about?

I've had this before when importing things from the Media Explorer. Not sure that it is the 'fix', but it seems to go away as long as I set the root folder of the media explorer back to my desktop or the project destination folder before closing it.

not really a reaper thing... some disc's especially games will leave that kind of imprint on your computer... where even after the disc is removed the computer thinks it's still there...

try inserting some other CD or DVD and reading from it .. and then go back to what you were doing.
