Default Loop library

Hi!

I often need a few loops, and thought it would be a good idea to have a basic sound-library.

Like:
- Tamburine loops in different values
- Congas loops
- Other small-percussion
- Maybe some singel-sounds like gongs, wood-block and so on.

Can you recommend me a free or cheap one,
that would cover the basics for most DAW-users?

Thanks!

Some commercial products for latin/percussion stuff I happen to own:
- Latin Percussion EZX for EZ drummer. Not strictly loops, but comes with many usable MIDI grooves. They are maybe not as 100% realistic as recorded loops, but it is more versatile
- Some libraries for SampleTank: World Grooves , Latin Brazil, Latin Caribbean, Latin Afro-Cuban
- zero-g Afrolatin Slam (http://www.zero-g.name/dlg/cart/inde...on=desc&pn=101)
- Indie Adpak for Addictive Drums comes with a rather nice Tambourine - simple, but convincing.
- Yellow Tool Independence comes with some good percussions, especially the Culture pack. But again, no loops here.

You need Sample Tank then right? (Not the free) It's a sampler.. Do you just hit a note for each loop?

I'll have to check my AD-packs. No, wasn't included with stock and Jazz-packs.

It works with the free version. Actually, the free version is the same software, just with fewer samples. The handling is a bit clumsy TBH. Each loop is a separate preset. One key (b0 or so) plays the loop, the keys above contain slices of the loop.

Correct, it's part of Indie.
