S&M Text Track Notes Keep Disappearing

I use the S&M Notes extension extensively to keep track of info on each track. I have a template with over 100 tracks with details about the VI keyswitches, note ranges, etc. Every now and then I'll pull up the note palette and realize that they're all gone. Then I have to trudge back through auto-backup files looking for a version that still has its notes. This happened 2 days ago and I was able to find one (several backups ]ago) and resaved it to a new name. Now this morning I pull it up and they're all gone again. Now I can't find any version with its notes intact.

What's going on here? I assume that these notes are stored in the RPP file.

God, this was so simple it's ridiculous.

Reaper auto-sizes the text to fit in the S&M Notes window. Apparently if the window is shorter than the number of lines in the note at its native font size it doesn't show anything at all. I didn't resize the window from where it defaulted and so nothing was showing.

It would be GREAT if either a scrollbar was added to the side of the palette or some indication of there being content that's not being displayed.
