Really nice song.
The organ felt a bit static.
Some panning felt too much listening in phones, but no big deal.
The soloing guitar was kinda destroying the song.
A little bit in the beginning, maybe some more reverb, but skip the rest except for the solo at the end.

Hi Steve, so was the mix in "bandcamp" mixed in the old DAW and the "Soundcloud" on done in Reaper?

Irregardless, the mix in "Soundcloud" sounds much better.

msundh had some good comments, but here is what I felt.

The main thing is the vocal and guitar. Not that they weren't sang and played well enough, but they need some reverb.

The vocal is just to dry and not in your face, it needs verb and to be brought forward some.

The guitar needs some grit & verb, and maybe mixed back a little bit. Also maybe made a little sparser, but really, it's pretty much a single line, and could use some distortion. Not heavy, just give it some grit and verb.

Thanks for your feedback/critique.
I have tamed the clean solo guitar, too much 4k,I have also put some more verb around it and dropped it down a db in the verses, but I still like it clean.

its not the first time someone has said my mixes are too dry,I have given the vocal some more(maybe too much?)reverb.

both the Soundcloud Mix and Bandcamp mix are the same, the only difference is SC mix is limited to -1db @ 24bit and for Bandcamp its -0.01 @ 16bit with true peak detection engaged.
the difference may be Soundclouds conversion to mp3.
at this stage I have only uploaded Bandcamp with the new mix.
cheers
Steve.

Quality country rockish song. Love the vocals, no actually I love all of it. Well done.
