Default Virtual Orchestra (VSL) too quiet, but the music is dynamically quiet

I'm sort of new to composing a full virtual orchestra, though I'm familiar with VSL, MIDI, Routing, etc.

The volume for each instrument is set to it's max (CC7)

The velocities are set up the way i want them (performed live on MIDI Keyboard)

The outputs are all set at 0 in reaper as well as the mixer in VSL.

The music is dynamically quiet as it is, so it should be quiet, but still louder than its showing me.

Forgive me.I'm still working on some of the attack and release times of the strings & woodwinds. This is what it sounds like with no plugins besides reverb, VSL and a little EQ.

With limiter and reverb on MF:

Add a limiter without compressing too much on the MF? I know mastering is a complex thing that people study in school and past that for many years of experience, but what are some basics I could use for my purposes (eq, limit, slight compression, etc.) I don't want to lose the virtual dynamics haha.
