Hello.
Guys, I didn't find the answer on my question,
so maybe you will know.
Are demo kits for NI Battery 3/4 free?

Of course you can use Battery kits in music compositions that are original. It's a synthsizer you bought and paid for - TO MAKE MUSIC Have fun with it.
You are "free" to use any VSTi in original music, it is literally called an "instrument'. Play it!

I must explain. May I use these samples(from demo content), if I downloaded demo version, because demo version is bundled with 6 kits that are cut.

Oh, you probably can't use the actually demo CONTENT, no. But the kits USED to create the demo content (presumably found IN the instrument Battery itself), yes you can of course use those kits. They are part of the library. You just probably cannot use the actual demo CONTENT as it's already a "composition".

Ok, maybe I should explain all the things again, because I'm embrassed.
1. I have demo version of the Battery.
2. It's bundled with 6 kits(aka demo content).
3. May I use 1 kit(not even the whole) in my song without any fears it's illegal?

According to the End User License you're not allowed to use Demo Versions (which usually also includes the Demo content - if not mentioned otherwise) for commercial purposes.
See chapters 8 and 9 in section III. SCOPE OF USE: https://www.native-instruments.com/e...nse-agreement/

The usage of this Product (in particular samples, instruments and presets) for the creation of a sound library or as a sound library for any kind of synthesizer, virtual instrument, sample library, sample-based product or other musical instrument is strictly prohibited. Furthermore these samples, sound sets or audio may not be repackaged in whole or in part as audio samples, sound libraries or sound effects.

But it's probably best to also contact NI Support about this directly: https://www.native-instruments.com/e...ny/contact-ni/

Thank you a lot for the information. What about my own music, which I'll distribute for free?
Well, I think I solved problem by using saturator for drums. I've found .pdf file, where was a piece of information about this kit.
The second thing is Battery 3 is no longer available for downloading.

In this case the part with 'non-commercial music' comes into play:

|
So basically with purchasing a product you get permission to use the included content in your commercial or non-commercial productions (within the license terms) ...

Well, I guess you'd still need specific permission from NI since this doesn't automatically imply that the product is free for use (unless NI gives Battery 3 away as free version) ...
But as I already mentioned, it's best to clarify this with NI Support directly.
As a side note: you might check out some Free Drums as possible alternatives: http://bigcatlists.blogspot.co.at/
