here is my easy fix for the main toolbar buttons that were bugging me a bit and Iwasn't a fan of the grey ones in jeds' mod - but WT did all the work as these are in the list of available toolbar buttons by default (i think)
IMO these look much neater and in keeping with the dark vibe.

Thanks for this theme, i hope that one day, we'll can replace white background ( like in the FX or Explorer window ) ^^.
I don't need a bespoke theme, but, if you create a "laptop, small screen" theme, i'll will download it for sure

Brilliant
Hello White Tie - I've been off the forum for a year or so, but this new theme of yours dragged me back here with enthusiasm. Just had to tell you what a brilliant piece of work this is - a perfect, sophisticated GUI for Reaper.
Thank you for making it available, and thank you for all the time you put into producing it. Excellent!

that line in your rtconfig was like a revelation for me
just went a little further in my theme and also integrated some of your perfect work, hoping the master likes it

Blimey, that's fantastic. I love it! Another great bit of design.
WT I'd really like to see what you do with a tiny screen. I end up doing loads of editing with a 10' 1024x700 screen.

Mod Update...
Just updated my Mod .
Sorry BenK the light toolbutons are still there for the moment although the ones you've selected look even better.
Theres now new layouts to handle colors better.
MCP layout Inspector which blocks all visible color from the "Sends/Efects section"
3 Layouts for color strips in 3 different shades.
Lots of cleaning up of my "Cut and Shut" coding ...LOL....
Enjoy

Enabling the folder collapse icon- Click the 'menu' button in the bottom right of the MCP master track or right click in empty space to the right of your last mixer track.
- 'Clickable icon for folder tracks to show/hide children' should be ticked.
I believe this is on by default.
Creating and removing folder hierarchy by drag & drop
This theme assumes you use the drag & drop technique for folder management, rather than the (arguably far less convenient and predictable) technique of clicking start/end buttons, so those buttons have been removed. Observe:

Hi White Tie,
regarding the removal of start/end folder buttons, sometimes it happens to me that I cannot bring a track one level above in the hierarchy (when there are two or more levels nested) I cannot have the blue "target" line set to one level above the current. In cases like this I have to revert using the start/end buttons to get the desired track move.
Probably it's a REAPER bug, but I wonder if it never happened to you.
Also, do you think this could be theme related (using mostly an unempty minima 73 mod here)?
Thanks,
Mario

Drag the track to be the first track in the desired hierarchy level, watching carefully the length of the blue line, to get it to join in at that level. Then reorder to taste.
S'not a bug, its just a touch fiddly till you know how. And no, its not theme related whatsoever.

This is another brilliant trick I find extremely useful.
I love the way you can twist the little widget for various preferences/views.
Really Classy stuff..
Thanks WT..

Bespoke[jp] Beta 3
I found a little time the other night and did an inversion of the great Bernstraw gray icons.
I'm afraid there are some in there that I haven't got round to sorting out namely the default main toolbar buttons . I find I only use some of these so will only be sorting out the ones I have time to.
I'm finding the simplified layouts with small knobs for volume much more friendly to use .
On my wish list (to do list)
Master track at the same width as standard track .
I'm a fan of the inspector track and found by having a toolbar button to toggle show master track in mcp allows me to quickly check the master output.
Enjoy and thanks again White Tie this theme has inspired me to get back to writing tunes

Did you download the 'original' theme (in the first post) or did you download Jedstar's modded version (post #142)?

Sorry I must have uploaded the wrong file.
Try downloading it again and let me know if it doesn't work for you
I'm only using the mcp layout "Global Default" "Inspector" and "Key"
The green is actually the track color the thin neon blue line above the name is the selection indicator.
Its True White Tie has made an exceptional "Bespoke" theme .
I guess I'm just tailoring it to my own needs and workflow in a very makeshift manner and I make no promises of tidying up this mod for general use or even consistency with the original theme .
But if you want to use it your more than welcome and don't forget to use the screensets/layouts menu under the view menu to get the most out of it.
Thanks JED

This theme is great! Thank you.(btw he would fit well with the studio one view style of selected tracks nah?).
I use the Jedstar mod(thanks) because of the brighter background.
But in TCP there is no Send and Receive indicator. I would like to implement it with Walter but I m a real noob with it. Is it difficult to implement?

I haven't checked thoroughly for bugs yet but I have to say, a superb theme.
One of the best designs for me.
The track layouts a very well chosen and I love the fact that the transport bar is narrow. Too many themes waste too much space by having a humongous transport bar.
Very good indeed.

I'm not dissing the other theme's when I say this, but I totally agree with you. There's something about the layout and colors that absolutely does it for me. It has that "je ne sais quoi" that completes the program for me. I also use my monitors at maximum brightness, and I also do a lot of work at night.
Thank you White Tie.
