2 Basic Questions re: GIF/LCF & Import to REAPER
I don't know where I've been, but I just found out about LICEcap. Here are my sources of puzzlement:
LICEcap always saves file as .GIF - how in the hell do you change that to .LCF? BTW, I'm on a PC. Also, do I need to add something (SWS add-on style) to REAPER in order to work with videos in REAPER? My goal at this time is not too lofty - I just want to do some voice-overs for quickie REAPER tutorials for some old (and I mean OLD) friends of mine who I've recently signed-up as new memnbers of the REAPER Club. Any help appreciated. Thanks. EDIT: OK. Got the File-Type part - it's all in the window AFTER you start a new capture. Now there's just Pt II of this - Do I need an add-on to work w/ vid in REAPER?

Oh my God! By jove, I've got it!
For any other dummies that may be lurking about ('though I doubt there's more than a few thick as me) after installing the VLC decoder, of course you must go to: View/Video Window. This is so cool.
