Default BEWARE: Don't buy Vengeance Avenger (yet) !

Yesterday i bought Avenger plugin from Vengeance.
http://www.vengeance-sound.com

Couldn't be more stupid and naive.
This plugin has enormous flaws.
In Reaper, most buttons can't be clicked in it's GUI . (However in Logic and Live, they work).

As soon as you open Avenger, a few seconds later, my macbook retina fans are going through the roof. (has something to do with the graphical performance of Avenger)

Frequent crashes (AU,VSTi,VST3 , doesn't matter). Also in other DAW's.

There are numerous bugs.

The Avenger thread on KVR is full of negative experiences , both on Windows and Mac side,
although it seems that Windows uses are complaining less, The windows version seems to work abit better.

Hold your wallet and if you are interested in this synth, try the demo that is available.
Would like to hear your experiences with it.

I didn't know that there would be a demo version, so i stupidly bought it right away.
Never ever am in gonna do that with Vengeance plugins again.

This product is released, waaaay to soon.
Shame on you Vengeance.

Macbook Retina 2015
OSX 10.12.1
Reaper 5.30pre6.

Get same problems in Reaper. In Live 9 works perfect . Version 1.1.0

I think Cockos and Vengeance need to fix this. Avenger is so powerful synth

I had no issues with Windows and the latest version (I believe it's 1.3.3) and latest Reaper, which is the only version of Reaper and Avenger I've actually used together. But I did notice an "issue" with the UI and scaling:

If for some reason the plugin container window becomes smaller than the plugin UI (for example if you load it on a screen that the UI doesn't fit onto), the actual location of the buttons becomes distorted/offset. So make sure you have the whole UI in view and if you need to scale, use the "scale" setting on the top left corner of the plugin or drag the little square at the bottom right to will.

As for the UI being heavy on the GPU, they have since added a setting to make the UI function in ECO, MED and HIGH performance modes (default was ECO now after installation). This has fixed the crazy fans issue for many people.
