Modular FX routing solutions?

So I've recently found a use for sidechain compressed reverb. I'm using it on some of my tracks now, but it is annoying because I now have to send every track that uses sidechain compressed reverb to its own aux track. This adds needless complexity and confusion, when this effect should be contained to the track it is on.

It got me thinking, there's this plugin in FL Studio called Patcher that can encapsulate tons of FX with complex routings and interfaces between them. There are some old threads on this, but they are quite outdated.

So is there any way to achieve something like this in Reaper? I'm open to third party solutions (I think you can download FL Studio's Patcher as a VST), but it would be really cool if there was something native to Reaper that could accomplish this.
