Default Create a timed echo, not the reverb 'wet' sound

I'm trying to have a sound echo to the bpm that I have the song set to and fade out.
I'd like it to be on tempo and be able to control how long it takes to fade out.
I'm NOT looking for the reaverb 'wet' sound, I need a TIMED echo.
Or at least an echo I can tweak to make it close enough to the bpm.
Thanks!

I dont know about if you want a freebie, but king of the hill for this sort of stuff is echoboy.

google it.
Was on sale very recently but probably ended now unfortunately....

However, there are plenty of delay plugins out there that will do what you want.
Including readelay, which covers the delay part of this and is already in Reaper, so using that ad the volume envelope tools would get you there, just a little more work than with echo boy.
