PodFarm as a VST
Anyone using Podfarm have trouble with the VST plug?
I posted at the Line 6 forum but all I got was - Have you plugged it in?
Uh - yah..... I'm using it for interface with my KB 37.
See attached error screenshot - my KB 37 has latest everything from da Line 6 Monkey - I copied the podfarm dll into my vst plugins folder - scanned it - it comes up but no joy.
Windows 7 (64)
Thanks

Did you update the driver for the KB37?? Maybe that broke it.
Try re-installing the driver for the KB37 and using a different USB port. Hopefully that will allow it to be recognized.

Also make sure that the KB37 is plugged directly into a USB port on your computer. I think they don't function properly if plugged into a hub.

PodFarm > Preferences > Hardware.
Set it to "Auto-detect"

I don't have the VST but all Podfarm software/Hardware requires authenticating,
With your device plugged in and detected and on-line.Start,"Monkey" and log into your account.Go to the Optional Add-ons Tab and highlight the your device or software and click,"Activate Purchase".You will only be allowed to active options you are entitled to.

yep - tried all that - no joy - I can run the stand alone just fine and use it for an interface - it's just the VST that's showing not authorized,,, odd

Are you licensed to use the VST version? This was a 'pay' option for most users, although some of the Line6 deals included the plugin.

If the VST is showing not authorized in the Monkey application, then, you need to actually purchase the VST.
The VST is part of the install, but unless you pay L6 to activate it, it's not going to work as a VST.

No trouble with PodFarm2. Smooth, good-sounding and hassle free.

For folks looking to solve the same issue.
Even though you have PodFarm installed and it works for a device INPUT for recording, the VST plug in will NOT work until registered. I got PodFarm free back in 2009 and used it all this time for guitar work wet in, but recently had a collab that insisted on dry to tweak later. I had not ever loaded the VST plug version and when I tried I got errors.
Simple fix is in the Line 6 Monkey - even though it's installed and partly usable, you will need to go to your account and grab the key @ line6.com. Find your order details (even thought it was free you need the key).
Activate Podfarm in the line6 Monkey by pasting your key in.
Duh....
