I have never found any documentation but if you start reaper from the Windows command prompt using "reaper -h" you get the usage prompt shown in the attachment.

So to batchconvert you would type from the command prompt

reaper -new -batchconvert list-of-files-to-convert.txt

I have no idea what the format of the file list to convert is though.

I am not sure what the command is under OSX as I am not at my mac at the moment but would imagine it is something similar.

Andrew.

oooooooooo! reaper.exe -newinst

omg that is going to be so freaking useful. I'm constantly running into times where I need a new reaper instance but can't make one because REAPER is rendering something. With this command I can open an new instance regardless of the situation. Also, maybe batch-creating reaper projects would be useful.

maaaan if only you could run a reaper action/script after opening

Necro, I just looked for 20 minutes and still cannot find any documentation for Reaper command line - trying to create some handy tools - can anyone point me to a list of parameters?

Oh, I thought commandline would include every action in Reaper, as in being able to write a batch script. Darn.

Any way I can run a macro action from the commandline?

Basically I want to use Reaper to process audio files, and tie that in to adding context menu items to Windows explorer shell such that I can right click and audio file and select 'Normalize' or 'convert to Mp3'. The conversions I can do with some other software but I haven't found anything for normalizing yet, and I'd love to ditch the other software and just use Reaper for everything. But right click is a must, I'm not big on opening the software first even with batch process tool.
