Lungs - Low Stick Content
Another one ready after longish tweaking.
Low Stick content meaning, that there are low notes and there are not many of them
These occasions when I publish something here are events of enormous relief because of the opportunity to get working on something new again.
Here it is - Lungs:

these lungs are made for breathin' and...

Nice job as usual!

I'm diggin your creativity, man. Love the electro elements as usual. Nice blend of modes, too. Unexpected.

Thanks Fabian, shemp, moio!
Yeah, this time the Stick was playing the bass guitar role, as I started this song pre-stick and it didn't have room for much stick-trickery or should I say stickery.
I'm trying to involve more electro-elements and looping into my workflow, but somehow I still end up more biased towards rock it seems.
Maybe next time

Thanks zeekat and others!
There's a long, long way to go to Trey Gunn - hopefully I'll find my own path, so I'll go another way instead.

No CD yet - this seems to be a life long project.
I think I'll have enough songs to release a CD at the first half of the next year.
Actually there's enough already, but the range of styles seems to be too eclectic for a proper album - from "Pole Shift" to "Android Mia" to "New Toys".

Brilliant! I'd have gone with a different vocalist but that was killer.
And what sammydix said. Where do I get the disc or quality download?
Regards
Dave

This is a great piece of music, with big vision and imagination.
Maybe the choice of a stick was a factor, but the sounds and the composition transcend the instrument choices.

Low stick, high stick, no stick, all stick... it doesn't really matter. Your talent, hard work and skill as a composer/songwriter and a player come through regardless.
This song and the production are deep, rich and interesting. Held me from start to finish.
Amazing work as always, Carbon. You are an inspiration to me.
You know what your sensibilities remind me of a little bit? John Paul Jones' solo material, which I love. If you haven't heard a lot of it, check out the album Zooma if you're not familiar with it. I think you will love it too.

My most humble thanks kindafishy!
I'll check out John Paul Jones, as indeed I haven't heard any.
