Default The Good Free OS X Effect Plug-in Thread

How about one for Mac OS X? Thinking of changing platforms and am looking for Kjaerhus Classic, GVst, etc, equivalents... What others are there?

One of the best EQs out there:
http://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-vos-slickeq/

People are praising this compressor A LOT. I haven't tried it yet
http://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-kotelnikov/

Ok compressor. Kinda complicated to dial good sounds... but it works
http://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-feedback-compressor-2/

Utility tool:
http://www.tokyodawn.net/proximity/

Another PRETTY DAMN GOOD EQ:
http://myvst.com/vst-effects/luftikus-freeware

Saturation:
http://www.softube.com/index.php?id=satknob

More saturation:
http://www.klanghelm.com/IVGI.php

Pretty good simple compressor
http://www.klanghelm.com/DC1A.php

Excelent EQ. Too bad is 32 bit only

You should change the thread title so people know it's OSX only.

Not sure how. I figured being in the OS X forum would indicate that.

Gotcha. I don't browse by forums. I hit "New Posts" and browse by titles. But also, putting Apple or OSX or Macintosh might help with searches. Usually you can just edit your post and perhaps be able to edit the title too. If not, you can probably report your post to the admins and ask to change the title.

Anyway, carry on...

I'll throw in a vote for Acon Digital's "Multiply" which is a cool chorus/echo plugin.

It has the mac version under the "forthcoming versions" so I guess it's not ready for prime time yet.

I've used the Slim Slow Slider stuff on PC. I wish the Kjaerhus Classic series could be used on Mac.

Haven't tested yet but seems to be a very promising Limiter:
https://goodhertz.co/faraday-lim

Sad it's Mac only

Airwindows is some interesting stuff for the right person. This is the free section:
http://www.airwindows.com/category/free/

My main studio harddrive crashed (I have a back up copy of everything), so I have a good opportunity to go through and reload only the plugins that I want. Keep this thread going! There's going to be alot of plugins that I've forgotten about!

Molot is the most awesome piece of audio crushing goodness to come along in a while. You have to appreciate a compressor called "Hammer" in Russian.

In Soviet Russia, you not compress sound, sound compress you!

I like this compressor http://www.audiodamage.com/downloads...php?pid=ADF002

They did a good free reverb too but I've just checked and it's not free any more - 39US cheap. Both work fine on my Mac Mini.

This is brilliant for mad space effects https://valhalladsp.com/shop/delay/valhalla-freq-echo/
