Default Reaper hangs and crashes whenever out of focus

Whenever I try to switch between aplications reaper crashes, this happens even when opening UIs from bridged plugins, or taking the mouse to the windows task bar for too long.. when I reinicialize it, it usually comes without any audio, and I have to go to preferences/audio/device and hit OK.. that is, when it doesn't crashe before opening preferences.. it happens even without anything loaded (just started a new project and went to preferences, it crashed - report below)

I just started DAW composing, and managed to make a whole song despite all the crashes (that happened a lot).. however I aim to more professional tasks and I realy liked reapers interface.. but in this state, it can't happen..

thanks for the time already

my specs are: Intel Core i3, 4Gb RAM, win 8.1
I'm using reaper x64
