Ahhhhh!Fairly new to reaper/midi,been trying to download a plug in and I place it wherever I need to and it's not showing up when I look for it in reaper.Tried doing the re-scan thing already.

What plugin ? Have you told Reaper (in Options/Preferences/Plugins/VST) where you "needed" to place the plugin (folder name only, not the full filename) ? Where was that ? Have you used the "Clear cache/re-scan" option ?
