In a pre-release, but I'm not going back.

Oddly, the tracks are not refreshed when I click [Apply] or [OK].

You mean it's not available in 4.62?

I believe he means he is not entirely sure whether the option is at the place he shows in v4.62 as well, but it would be a good idea to look there. I'm in the same boat.

EDIT: Just installed a portable 4.62 and the option indeed is in Preferences -> Appearance -> Track Control Panels. In 4.62 it refreshes fine (in the pre it doesn't... we should report this, DS)

OK, I'll add it to the Pre-release thread.

All I meant was that I am not going to reinstall 4.62 just to check this out

It is on the Track Control Panel Prefs page, as Darkstar says ...

... AND ...

more important, notice that Prefs has a text box (bottom left) with a Find function. For example, you can type "tint" in there, click Find and ... it will find it for you! Now how cool os that!

Default Tint Tracks

Hello guys! I see that there seems to be more than me, that seems to have some problems with color tracks, all the way up in the mixer so to speak. I bought Reaper 5:02 today, and I find no way to get my tracks colored completely in my mixer. Someone who has helpful tips?

Right-click the track and choose Track Color, then Set Track To Custom Color.

The best way, for a lot of people, is to download the SWS extension for Reaper here: http://sws.mj-s.com/ and use the Auto-Color feature to have all of your tracks get colored for you based on their name, or if they're in a folder, etc.
