Default how to rewire Ableton live into reaper ?

has anyone here had reaper and ableton live rewired , ie reaper master , ableton slave. If so can some show me how it is done please , thanks

Create a track, click on the tracks fx button, fx browser opens, click on Rewire on the left pane, doubleclick Ableton Live in the right pane...thats most of it, you may have to set midi and audio connections, its been a while sorry. Theres some track templates already set up on the forum somewhere.

....it also depends on what order you open the apps - I cant remember which way round it is, but you have to open one before the other in order for Ableton to be a Rewire option in the Reaper FX browser.

I use Ableton to write in and then transfer tracks that I want to keep into Reaper via rewire before recording properly and mixing - it works really well.

Also, I find some of the effects in Ableton really cool so I might occasionally do a send to Live.

thanks guys it works beautifully i do like the efx in ableton that why i want to have the best of both DAWs one's weakness compliments the other's strength if you catch my drift .cheers.
