Default Izotope Nectar Render Problem

I really like the manual editor in Nectar. Problem is, when I make tweaks to a vocal take and render it(Nectar is a CPU hoss) the fixed vocal dosent get rendered. Its the original(not fixed) file.

Whats the deal here?

Are you using 'apply track fx as new take'?

NO. Just rendering. Will that do the trick?

Only one way to find out... haha.
It *should* work. If it doesn't, there's a larger problem.

Still dosent work. I tried. Render items as new take and Apply FX to item as new take. I load up the file in Nectar to check the pitch and its back to the original. WTF! Frustrating.

Try this:
'Apply track FX to items as new take'.

Then, 'explode all takes to new tracks'.

That will create two new tracks; one with the original audio and one with the effected audio (and the original track will remain in place).

Delete the new track containing the original audio, and remove Nectar from the original track (mute that original track while you're at it), and apply Nectar to the new track (which should have the effected vocal on it).

If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you. :/

Dosent work. This is crazy. I gotta be missing something.

EDIT got this from the Izotope website:

Manual pitch editing in Nectar is not supported in the DirectX version. In addition, manual pitch editing requires the host application provide robust support for reporting transport location to plug-ins but not all hosts provide this information. Download the demo and try it in your favorite host.

Hosts that do not support manual pitch correction can still use automatic pitch correction and all of the other features of Nectar.

Does this mean anything to anyone? Is that why its not working?

That's a question better left for the devs; I have no idea.
Good luck; I hope you can get it working.
