Hi! Just wanted to say...
HOLY SHIT I just found the updated Skope II plugin and with that I can finally do what I've been wanting to do for a long time: see the effects of clipping/saturation/compression and other non-linear stuff on the waveform in real time. Somehow all other scopes I've tried really fail at keeping the waveform pinned at the same position in the time axis, but the trigger mode in Skope II works perfectly! THANK YOU!
A couple of shameless feature requests that came to mind:
1. automatically set markers to the highest peak value in the current redraw cycle (Ctrl+Shift+LMB)
2. after this, display the amount of difference in marker and peak value on every redraw cycle:
(probably too much effort this one )
Again, thank you so much for this neat JSFX!

Another useful application: designing your subkick layer's phase to align with the kick drum sample, or general phase alignment of layers

That looks cool Sju. Thanks for your feedback. I'll think about the feature requests. If they don't add too much complexity, they could be useful.

I have updated Skope now. It's not exactly what Sju requested, but quite close. Markers can be automatically set to the highest peak by pressing SHIFT+ALT+LMB and CTRL+ALT+LMB. Also decibel difference of the two markers will be displayed. The real time comparison of the markers to input would need further planning because I wish to keep the usage logic simple and the gui uncluttered.

CH2 pin is available two times in the pin connector. Is this intended or just a copy/paste error? If so I will change it. The beauty of JSFX
And... THANK YOU for your great plugins! I like the Bassprofessor VERY much!

Skope II just got updated. Now there is a new sync mode which syncs the display with playback loop. Thanks goes to Sju and eugen2777 for contributing this addition.

I assume you mean the 5.1 master Limiter? Yes, it's been done but not uploaded yet. I need to check couple of things yet. It should be available soon.

Hello
Thank you for your plugins, the new GUI look awesome !
One little concern, though : I have tried the VST version of Bass professor, and it isn't properly scanned by Reaper.
Does it work fine with other users ?
I like the way your stax compressor gives a "full" sound

Thanks for the comment. I have not received any other reports that bass professor wouldn't be recognized by host. It should work.

Plugin Crash
Hi Anomaly,
This is possibly not the right forum for this because the VST versions of Bass Professor II, Vola 2, and STAX work perfectly in Reaper (it's a pretty tolerant DAW... ). However, they are all crashing in Bitwig, and unfortunately it's impossible to send an email from the contact page on your JSPlugins site at the moment.
Briefly - It is possible to load Bass Prof, or Vola, or Slax into Bitwig and use them initially, but attempting to open a saved BW project results in an 'end-of-stream' error for these plugins, taking down the audio engine, or the bridged process (depending on bitwig plugin hosting configuration).
I contacted BW support last week; Dom's reply was "I'm afraid there's nothing we can do on our side, the crash happens in the code of the plugin itself. To investigate it further, the developer of the plugin has to debug the crash."
I have also email Derek over at wascal.net with the same info as I understand that Geep Jeez was used to compile these plugins.
Is this something you can help with? I can (probably) locate the BW crash logs if required.
Win10 - 64 bit everything...
Cheers
Rob

Thanks vitalker
Ah, so it became clear why my server used the same amount of bandwidth in just one day what it usually consumes in one month

Maybe Some people were upset because of lack of Mac version.

VST versions have lower CPU usage for me. (64-bit Reaper / Windows 7.)
PS. It still says "Stige T." as the plugin author name (not "Sonic Anomaly") in the 64-bit VST version of Transpire, in the Reaper plugin dialog. I did a "clear cache/re-scan" of VST plugins just to be sure, with the DLL downloaded from your site today.

It's not surprising at all. I would like to explain to you: cpu consumption of audio is lower for vst version, but vst gui consumes a lot of processor's power. Reaper doesn't show cpu use for gui, only for audio, that is why you think vst version uses less.

Ok, yes that is true. The VST versions GUI is not performing as efficiently as JSFX. But at least the good thing is that the higher load occurs only when the gui is open.
The exception is Transpire which has been developed with different tools.
