That my 6 year old son has tonsilitis with a double ear infection and has a 103 fever. I feel so bad for him.
Luckinly the MD says it isn't the H1N1 flu like I thought it was yesterday.

Went through that a few weeks ago with my 12 year old. His school was full of H1N1... had us scared to death. Tonsillitis... whew!
Hang in there...

Yeah - I was really worried, but he's feeling a little better now, so that's good.

The Windows 'error' messages.
I'd rather like to see something like "You fucked it up, retard!" instead of "The process cjbyvi67456344528 made an unauthorized transaction to the instruction ini&/(T%2123413 and messed with the port :::465$#"#" or whatever incomprehensible stuff appears.
Oh.. and please, please Windows.. Don't search the internet for any kind of help for anything. We all know is just a charade. Accept it, you never find anything remotely helpful. Give up.

Why don't computers ever say sorry I made a mistake? Its not always my fault.!

... people who miss the obvious when something is 'broken'...
"It won't run!"
"Hmmm... here, let's press this function key with the RUN label on it..."
"WOW! THANKS! IT WORKS!"
I am surrounded by idiots...

I hate being sick... for the upteenth time this year. My kids get sick and then give it to me - this past week, all 5 of us were sick.
FYI - Sometimes, sharing is NOT caring.
Although I do love that I am feeling a little better and actually left the house for work today. But, I hate that I am at work, and not at the bank couting my millions.

That I can't export the bottom row of cells of a calendar template using Open Office. As long as October has 31 days that's a problem.
Makes me want to kick nuns in the groin*.
*Not really but, I'm the only sick mind that find that image really funny? Imagine it with the theme of the Benny Hill show as background music.

When I'm told to do something at work but I'm only provided with 20% of the information I need and the rest I'm supposed to know it beforehand by my mystical powers of divination, mind-reading and future forecasting.
(choking with own bile)
Update: Then my mystical powers fail and I start to do something that I'm not supposed to do. Hilarity ensues. NOT.
Oh, Happy BD Jinko!

Things were said in the heat of the moment and I sincerely apologize for ever starting that thread and implore you not to leave.
Dont let my (and others)actions ruin this wonderful helpful place for you.
I deleted my above post as well, as it is rude, uncalled for , and makes no good for any of us.
Again d.bop I am sorry (and to anyone else I personally attacked or offended) and please stay. I may need your input someday.

Thanks buddy,
It wasn't really directed at you though.. It just seems that overall, this place is going downhill (and it's starting to leak out of the lounge.) Maybe we're all getting a little too greedy/self-righteous from seeing our FR's manifested. Maybe it's colder outside so we just sit inside on the computer. Who knows.
I'll most likely stay around.. It's just frustrating to see this happening to what was once a cozy and happy community.

IFH that I have to practice at least 3 hours a day just to be an almost-average guitarist. I had band rehearsal last week after like 2 weeks of not playing at all and I was like: "What the hell is this? Gee-tur? How you handle it? Oooh.. I touch the strings and sound comes out from that big box over there...! Songs? Yeah, I think I knew some of those..."

I put engineering on pause recently because of how terribly my song writing has declined. Reaper's been my tape deck till I have the best material possible. but yeh, it's important to remember what matters most in a mix, the music.
