Default Triggering chords

I have the Alesis DM 10 and would like to create a chord that can be triggered. maybe a horn section or just keyboard chords. I also have the D4 alesis and simmons pads that I had used. I was able to play bass guitar sounds from it. oh and also a trigger I/O. to add more E-drums.

Thanks

So you want to use your e-drum kit to trigger other VSTi midi notes.

If that's the case I'm not sure what to tell you, there was a time when I did use the pads from a drum software GUI, but I actually had to load the samples onto the pads.

That don't mean you can't do it, you surely can, but it's going to take some lining up you drum pads with a VSTi instrument.

As far as playing chords, that's another matter, and depends on your ability to put it together. I'm afraid I can't go beyond that, but I do wish you the best and hope you can figure it out.

EDIT: Incidentally, welcome to the forum.

Default Trigger chords

Hi Tod
I could remember hooking up my MMT8 to a Casio keyboard and playing what sounds that where in the keyboard. But not chords. We played closer to the heart and I could play the chimes. But not chords.

Also thinking can I create a wav. files and trigger that sound some how.
Thanks for your time
