Default Tutorial : Reaper Theming with Pink Bits

This is my contribution to the theming manual that Labyrinth is working on (an enormous undertaking that I urge you to support him with in any way you can - god knows I'd never have the stamina).

It covers (hopefully) everything you need to know about using pink in Reaper theming to control stretching and positioning. It then goes on to explain overlays and how to create them, and overlay hacking for advanced effects.

Download the PDF

you can also Download Here

Any typos are there purely to annoy the unworthy.

Speaking as one of the unworthy, thanks WT, some of that stuff I never have fully understood when trying to create Reaper graphics.

You sir, rock.

Well, I will support Labyrinth, as I have also offered to assist if needed. So I am still waiting in the sidelines.. Either way I am glad someone is taking the initiative to get this done and done right.

Thanks White Tie and Labyrinth!

[edit] btw White Tie - your doc is cool shit!!

Great work WT!

Here's a good bit of advice that I learnt the hard way: Never look at loads of Hieronymus Bosch paintings just before you go to bed.

Hey, Labyrinth, did that manual ever get finshed? Also, Mr. Tie, the pdf link in the first post isn't working. Can it be had from elsewhere?

Thanks.

Default A struggling theme :)

Been trying all day to change and create a new theme, it seems I can change some things, but essentials like take backgrounds, and selected take backgrounds just don't seem to want to change at all, I've ticked and un-ticked the override option, but it doesn't seem to work ??

OOOooer !
