Problem With My PDF Manuals Not Opening In Reaper Help/Documentation Menu

Hello:

Just wondering why my PDF Reaper manual doesn't come up in my Reaper program under the Help/Documentation menu. It says it's there, but clicking on it does nothing. Same thing with the Quick Guide.

Yet if I go to my computer folder where I have them downloaded, I can click on them there and they immediately come up via the Adobe Reader. No problem.

Never used to have this problem. I copy these things to my C:\Program Files\Reaper folder. Like I said, they do show up in the Reaper Help menu. They won't work there. I even put copies in the ApplData Reaper sub-folder but it didn't help that way, either. So, HELP for the help (ha-ha).

Are you placing any docs or manuals you want to see appear in the Documentation subfolder? (And no need to place this sort of thing in AppData -- it will do no good there.)

Yes, I just checked and I do have a copy in my C:\Program Files\Reaper\Docs sub-folder. It's there and will load up from there with Adobe Reaper by double-clicking on the PDF file.

Still, it won't work in the Reaper Help\Doc menu. Any other advice??

I just went into my Reaper Help\Doc menu and the other links there (such as the wiki documentation) goes right to the internet for that sight..So those internet links work from the help menu. Even my Reaper Quick Start guide won't open up from there.

That truly strange, as those should open from the top help/doc menu on Reaper.

I know..and I right-clicked on the PDF files to make sure they weren't hidden files or anything. Maybe I should re-download those files, delete the old ones, and put them back where they go and try again.
